| Presenter: |
David Betts, Open Text |
| Description: |
There is a growing realisation that thinking in this area has moved on from thinking of a Taxonomy to the management of information as an asset and as components of core business process, with added potential for improved decision support.
This session will look at the requirements and approaches for designing an ECM Information Infrastructure that supports the efficient filing, categorisation, retrieval and reporting of information. The first half of the session will focus on the business drivers that underpin the need for good design, together with a process approach through which good design can be achieved.
In the second half of the session we will look at the main factors that should be considered when designing an information Infrastructure that will be delivered using Livelink ECM, this part of the session will also explore some of the powerful features that Livelink ECM offers for supporting the implementation of an effective Information Architecture.
