U-TR-440 Architecture & Security Workshop

Workshop - Two-days

We've combined two workshops into one accelerated workshop!

This highly technical workshop examines Open Text products from an architectural and security point of view. The workshop examines all of the certified - and some common but not certified - solutions from monolithic installations to highly available clusters. All aspects of the service are examined, from the network and network services to the database and file system resources. Both Windows-based and Unix-based solutions are examined and contrasted.

You will examine security from all angles as it relates to Open Text products, including: firewalls, file system ACLs, passwords, monitoring, encryption, backup & disaster recovery, and even social engineering.

We will guide you through the processes, methods, issues and decisions required for designing a system configuration to meet your business needs while maintaining an environment that meets or exceeds your security policy.

Finally we will examine some of the future possibilities that Livelink Flexible Storage Management & IXOS eConserver integration will allow, both from an architectural and security point of view.
