Bellagio Room Rates for LiveLinkUp 2001 Conference Guests:

$179 single room (plus 9% Clark County room tax)
$179 double room (plus 9% Clark County room tax)

A charge of $35.00 will be added for each guest over double occupancy with a maximum of four (4) guests per room.

Check-in time is 3:00 p.m. with checkout time at 12:00 noon. If rooms are requested prior to check-in time, early arrivals will be accommodated, as rooms become available. The Bellagio Bell Captain can arrange to store baggage for early arrivals or late departures.

Reservation deposits are refundable if the reservation is cancelled at least seventy-two (72) hours prior to arrival; if not, the deposit is non-refundable.

Conference Regulations

Badges and Admittance

Official Open Text badges must be worn at all events, including meal functions. This applies to all attendees, and guests.

Cancellation Policy

Before October 15, 2001, a 25% cancellation fee will be charged on all refunded conference registrations. There are no refunds after October 16, 2001. Please notify Open Text in writing should you need to cancel before October 15, 2001.

Consumption of Alcohol

Open Text's official policy regarding the minimum age for alcohol consumption is the age applicable to the jurisdiction of the event venue. In Nevada, the minimum age for the consumption of alcohol, beer and wine is 21 years.

Group Discount

To qualify for a group discount, you must enter the name of each member of the group at the same time.

If an individual cancels, and your group is no longer eligible for the group discount, then:

The member(s) who cancelled will be credited the cost of the conference (minus any applicable cancellation fees).
The members who remain will be charged an additional fee to make up the loss of the group discount.

Guests

You can include a guest with your registration for an additional $500 USD. A guest is a spouse/significant other, friend or an adult child (18 years or older) who is not in an industry-related occupation. A coworker or an associate within the industry may not use the Guest Registration category.

Registered guests may participate in official dinners and entertainment provided during dinner.

Children under 18 are not allowed to attend any Open Text function. Persons wishing to arrange for in-room childcare should contact the hotel concierge for referrals.

Once you have registered, you will receive a registration number for yourself and one for your guest. Your guest must return to the Registration page and sign in with their guest registration number to complete their personal information.

Meals

All meals are included in conference fee. Please let us know of any special meal requirements when you register.

No Smoking Policy

The meeting rooms and seated functions, will be smoke-free. In all other areas, please regard the smoking policy of the facility.

Payment

When we receive your payment, we will confirm your registration.

We accept two methods of payment: credit card or purchase order. We process payment by credit card immediately.

If you pay by Purchase Order, you must fax a copy of the purchase order to fax number 613 596-5934 within 5 business days to confirm your registration. We will not accept purchase orders after October 22nd.

We will mail receipts within 3 business days of processing your registration.

Credit cards are the only accepted method of payment for on-site registration. No checks, cash, or purchase orders will be accepted.

Registration Number

Once you have registered, you will receive a registration number.

Important: You'll need this registration number when you check in at the conference.

You will also need your registration number to add a guest or select training by returning to the Registration page.

For any other changes or cancellations, please contact us.

If you have registered as a group, each member of the group will receive the same group registration number. As well, each member will be sent an individual registration number. Each member must return to the Registration page and sign in with their individual registration number to complete their personal information.

Special Assistance

Open Text staff will be glad to help you with any special needs (i.e., physical, dietary). Please complete the appropriate sections on the registration form.

Substitutions

To substitute a participant:

To substitute a new participant for a participant who is currently registered, please contact us.

Please provide the name of the participant who is withdrawing and the name of the new participant.

The original participant will be cancelled and the new participant will be registered in his or her place.

Once the new participant is registered, the original participant will be issued a full refund.

Once the new participant is registered, he or she will receive a registration number. The new participant must return to the Registration page and sign in to complete his or her personal information.

Please note that the new participant may not be able to attend the same training courses as the original participant as space is limited.

To substitute a member of a group:

To substitute a new participant for a group participant who is currently registered, please contact us.

Please provide the group registration number, the name of the participant who is withdrawing and the name of the new participant.

The original participant will be cancelled and the new participant will be registered in his or her place.

Once the new participant is registered, he or she will receive an individual registration number associated with the group registration. The new member must return to the Registration page and sign in with their individual registration number to complete their personal information.

Please note that the new participant may not be able to attend the same training courses as the original participant as the original participant as space is limited.

Training

Training session costs are in addition to the conference fee.

We will mail receipts within 3 business days of processing your registration.

Training sessions are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis so sign up early!

You can select training sessions when you complete your registration. Or, after registering, you can return to the Registration page, sign in with your registration number and select training sessions.

You may withdraw from a training session without penalty until October 1st. After October 1st, no refund will be issued. For any withdrawals or changes, please contact us.

If you want to attend a session that is already full, please click the button next to the session. We will contact you if space becomes available or a session is added due to the popularity of the course.
