1. Livelink Developer: Intro to LAPI

Prerequisites: C++, Visual Basic, or Java programming knowledge. Basic Livelink knowledge.

For developers, provides and introduction to the Livelink API (Application Programming Interface). By the end of the course, you will know how to use programming languages like C/C++, Visual Basic, and Java to communicate with Livelink for the purpose of batch operations and / or integration of Livelink with other software products.

2. Livelink Developer: Creating myLivelink Widgets

Prerequisites: Using myLivelink course; Java (preferred) or C++ programming knowledge.

For developers of myLivelink portals, explains the basics of creating myLivelink widgets, with exercises to get you started. A subset of the standard 2-day course. By the end of this course, you will be able to implement the base functionality for a new myLivelink "section".

3. Livelink Developer: Defining and Using New Workflow Role Types

Saturday morning

Prerequisites: Builder Fundamentals course, Advanced Workflow course or equivalent experience.

For workflow customizers, learn how to take advantage of one of the new features of workflow in the Livelink 9 release. By the end of the course, you will know how to define a new role where, based upon some attribute, the workflow would go to a particular role.

4. Livelink Developer: Building and Using a Complex Workflow Data Type

Code: LSDKWFC2

Saturday afternoon

0.5 day

Prerequisites: Builder Fundamentals course, Advanced Workflow course or equivalent experience.

For workflow customizers, learn how to create a complex data type for use in workflows. By the end of the course, you will be able to use complex data types to implement richer workflow processes.
