Prerequisites: The Livelink 9 Upgrade course for Knowledge Managers, the Livelink v8.1.5 system administration course (or equivalent experience).

For Livelink v8.1.5 system administrators, an overview of new features and changes to the administration functionality. By the end of the course, you will be able to use all of the new administrative features, and you will be able to approach the upgrade of your own Livelink systems with confidence.

2. Livelink Administrator: Administering Livelink Search

Prerequisites: Strong knowledge of the search interface. Knowledge of Livelink system installation and general administration helpful. (Power User course, System Design and System Administration course useful)

For system administrators and knowledge managers with a technical background, explains how the indexing functionality works, how to create a Directory Walker, what slices are and how they work, how to check the status of indexes, how to adjust index parameters, best practices for search administration, and more. By the end of the class, you will be able to create and administer search indexes in a way that provides optimal performance and makes data mining easier for your users.

3. Livelink Administrator: Understanding Livelink's Schema

Prerequisites: Livelink for Knowledge Managers, basic knowledge of SQL. REQUIRES a signed non-disclosure agreement with Open Text.

For system administrators and knowledge managers with a technical background, provides an in-depth overview of the Livelink schema. By the end of the course, you will understand the overall structure of the Livelink schema and you will be able to write reports to retrieve the information you need. 4. Livelink Administrator: All About Livelink LiveReports

Prerequisites: Livelink for Knowledge Managers or Livelink Power User course, basic knowledge of SQL.

For knowledge managers with a technical background, explains the mechanics and mysteries behind LiveReport creation and use, in detail.
