BASIS Developer 1: Customizing BASIS Webtop

BASIS Webtop, a new Web interface to BASIS databases, uses a Java-based application development environment. This session includes a brief introduction to the product architecture and overview of the customization options.

 

BASIS Developer 3: Redesigning the Argonne Information Management (AIM) System

Presenter:

This year, interfaces for three existing Web applications were redesigned to include new features as well as an application capable of searching more than 20 manuals. Learn how BASIS was used to develop a new, easier to use interface for the AIM system that includes new graphic design using Cascading Style Sheets and features like multiple-database search, notification service, and e-mail result sets.
