Knowledge Center. Through demonstrations and examples, the presentation
will highlight the many ways that Open Text customers can improve their

avoid, and develop online relationships with both Open Text customer support
representatives and the entire community of the Open Text user base.
Specific attention will be given to the newer and more innovative features
of the customer support section of the KC, such as: Trouble Tickets, online
user spaces and discussions. This session will be especially valuable for

Delivering Library Research Services with Livelink Cataloged Library and BASIS Techlib
Demonstration of a Research Request system managed in Livelink.
Through the Research folder, users can review and reuse prior
research plus collaborate with library staff to answer new questions.
Information professionals use BASIS Techlib to selectively categorize
library materials and Livelink documents to impose additional control
and provide structured access. Even without a formal library, using
Techlib with Livelink can improve management of business-critical
documents such as published technical research, regulatory compliance,
or corporate archives. Using the Livelink Cataloged Library for enhanced
retrieval, researchers can easily isolate focused content, read peer
reviews of technical reports, and identify colleagues with similar
interests or relevant expertise.
