Microsoft's Sponsorship Helps Make Content World 2010 a Success

Thanks to their sponsorship and outstanding participation, Microsoft helped to make OpenText Content World a success. At this year’s conference—which took place on November 7–12 in Washington, DC—Microsoft participated by hosting network luncheons, breakout sessions, and by supporting the onsite communication tool TextMeNow—a text messaging feature that facilitated the communication with delegates.

Microsoft Solution sessions were well attended and many participants remarked about the great interactions they had with presenters during and after the sessions. A special thank you goes to Jeff Jinnett, Director, Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Solutions, Microsoft Financial Services Group and Bernd Hennicke, Portfolio Manager, OpenText who co-presented the breakout session Lifecycle Management and eDiscovery within the Open Text and Microsoft Environment. Participants were engaged to interact and answer questions for a chance to win an Xbox.

The Microsoft Solutions booth showed the importance of Microsoft and OpenText’s collaboration by demonstrating various solutions, including Content Lifecycle Management Services for Microsoft® SharePoint®, Case Management Framework for Microsoft® SharePoint®, and OpenText Suspense Tracking for Microsoft® SharePoint®.

By the end of the conference, there was tremendous excitement surrounding the product releases for SharePoint 2010. This was a result of the time that Microsoft representatives spent with customers and partners.
