Open Text Announces the Release of eDOCS Integration for Microsoft SharePoint 4.0 Release 2, by SeeUnity

Open Text is pleased to announce the release of eDOCS Integration for Microsoft SharePoint 4.0 Release 2  and eDOCS Extensions for Microsoft SharePoint 4.0 Release 2, by SeeUnity.

eDOCS Integration for Microsoft SharePoint version 4.0 Release 2 (R2) enables organizations to centrally manage content created in SharePoint in accordance with regulatory and business requirements. The product develops comprehensive compliance solutions, governing electronic enterprise content, such as email, file systems, SAP, and other record-generating environments to ensure litigation readiness and support discovery processes. The product also allows users to "push" content to one or more SharePoint sites for public secured access. Documents can be made available to outside entities without having secured access to your LAN/WAN. eDOCS Integration for Microsoft SharePoint 4.0 R2 contains many new features as well as a number of important fixes.

  • Open Text Document Management, eDOCS Edition (eDOCS DM) 6.0.5 CU2 Hot Fix 2 was released on 2009-09-01. This hot fix resolves an issue when users are working in a mixed version environment after upgrading the DM Server from eDOCS DM 6.0.4 to eDOCS DM 6.0.5. If you plan to upgrade from eDOCS DM 6.0.4 to 6.0.5, this patch is REQUIRED prior to the upgrade. See KBA 16685256 for more details.

  • Open Text Document Management, eDOCS Edition (eDOCS DM) 5.2.1 CU4 was released on 2009-09-25. CU4 contains several enhancements as well as fixed issues, including support for Adobe Acrobat Reader 9.0 and Adobe Acrobat Writer 9.0.
