Support for Adobe Creative Suite 4 is now available

The Open Text Digital Media Group is pleased to announce the support for Adobe Creative Suite 4.  This support is provided via the Creative Desktop and related plug-ins, including:

  • Creative Desktop v3.1
  • Creative Desktop Plug-in for Adobe InDesign CS4 v1.0
  • Creative Desktop Plug-in for Adobe Illustrator CS4 v1.0

With this release comes new functionality to support copy documents in InDesign workflows:

  • All copy documents that are linked to an InDesign document that is being ingested will also be ingested and then linked to the InDesign document in the asset management system.
  • All text frames in an InDesign layout can optionally be translated to InCopy story documents, ingested to the DAM, and linked to the source InDesign asset.

See the release documentation for more details.
Creative Desktop 3.1 and the related plug-ins are supported on both Mac and Windows.  Artesia DAM 6.8 SP3 or higher is required for use of Creative Desktop 3.1.
