New Version of Enterprise Connect Released

Enterprise Connect can now be used by Open Text Document Management, eDOCS Edition (eDOCS DM) customers as the desktop client to provide DoD 5015.2-compliant records management for eDOCS DM content. To file a document as a record, users select the document from eDOCS DM, and drag it to the appropriate folder in Open Text Records Management.

Open Text Document Management, eDOCS Edition (eDOCS DM) 5.2.1 CU4 Hot Fix 1 was released on 2009-10-02. This hot fix is for eDOCS DM 5.2.1 CU4 server computers and resolves an issue with displaying Public Folder content after applying CU4 for DM 5.2.1. New - White Paper: eDOCS DM 5.x Benchmarks

Open Text eDOCS DM 5.2.1 continues the direction of increasing performance and usability, and improves efficiencies and user satisfaction. Although the primary drivers behind 5.2 were to improve stability and provide significant new functionality, eDOCS DM continues to maintain and improve its performance from Service Release to Service Release.

In general, performance in key areas has continued to provide increased performance and load-bearing statistics over and beyond the 400 percent increase from the base-line eDOCS DM 5.1.05 SR1 product.

For this White Paper, performance and load tests were performed against both eDOCS DM 5.1.05 SR6 MR5 and eDOCS DM 5.2.1 CU3. Both tests had duration of two hours and a load of 250 concurrent users performing the same actions simultaneously.
