Open Text Archiving and Document Access for SAP Solutions 9.6.2 Offerings (support SAP ERP 4.7 and higher) Have Been Updated to Include Open Text Enterprise Library
Open Text is pleased to announce the release of version 9.6.2 of the following offerings in our Open Text ECM Suite for SAP Solutions portfolio:
This version includes the following new features that apply to all three of the above offerings:
- Support for Open Text Enterprise Library 10.1 (this replaces Open Text Archive & Storage Services 9.7.1 within the offerings)
- The ABAP API for accessing Open Text Rendition Server (formerly Open Text Rendition Services) was redesigned. It allows the creation of customer-specific solution scenarios that require rendering, downloading, emailing, or printing of archived documents (API usage is restricted to Open Text consultants).
- Support for SAP CRM 2007 (Basis 7.0, BBPCRM 6.0, SAP NetWeaver 7.0)
- Support for SAP NetWeaver 7.0 Enhancement Package 1
- Support for the SAP ERP 6.0 Enhancement Packages that existed at the time of this release
- Enhancements to imaging integration features:
- Imaging Web Viewer now supports additional configuration settings
- Locales map and IP ranges for Imaging Web Viewer
- Ability to customize Imaging Java Viewer and Imaging Web Viewer usage per document class
The following new features apply to the DocuLink feature of the Open Text Document Access for SAP Solutions offering only:
- Integration of GOS URL attachments in DocuLink nodes
- DocuLink logging has been standardized:
- User action logs are tracked in SLG1
- DocuLink customizing tables can be logged for Table history (SCU3)
Note that the 9.6.2 release of the Archiving and Document Access offerings above is designed to work with SAP ERP 4.7 and higher.
