Open Text Accounts Payable for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 1.2.1 is Now Available

Accounts Payable for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne controls the time required to process invoices for payment through rapid invoice data capture, electronic invoice routing, and predefined best practice process workflows, which ensure standard and compliance policies are followed. Accounts Payable for JD Edwards connects scanned images of each invoice or supplier maintenance form to its voucher or supplier transactions in JD Edwards, limiting copying and eliminating time to retrieve and file paper forms. Furthermore, information from scanned invoices during the data entry phase or via optically character recognition (OCR) can automatically be transferred into the JD Edwards voucher form, reducing manual and duplicate data entry.

Accounts Payable for JD Edwards creates a workflow, which is a series of steps required to process each scanned form. The Process Designer and configurable workflow enables easy creation and modification of processes, helping to manage complex business rules with limited human interaction. Workflows even include steps to handle process exceptions. With Accounts Payable for JD Edwards, each user can see the list of invoices or vouchers requiring action, with information about the work or input required at each step.
