Canada 3.0 – Defining Canada's Digital Future
On June 8-9, government, business and academic leaders met at the inaugural Canada 3.0 Forum which took place at the University of Waterloo’s Stratford Institute. The purpose of the forum was to develop a national digital media action plan to ensure Canada can not only compete, but also lead the world in the new digital economy.

Artesia DAM Web Toolkit 2.6.1 and Media Portal 1.2.2 are Now Available
The Open Text Digital Media Group is pleased to announce the release of Artesia DAM Web Toolkit 2.6.1 and Artesia DAM Media Portal 1.2.2.
Artesia DAM Web Toolkit 2.6.1 extends the functionality introduced with version 2.6 as follows:
- Addition of new JSP tags to the WebToolkit tag library including AssetPropertyEquals, AsetPropertyNotEquals, and AssetNotCanExport.
- Addition of new Struts action classes to provide additional functionality in the WebToolkit including ArtesiaSecureForwardAction, PasswordResetAction, and PasswordChangeAction.
- Login infrastructure has been enhanced to support regular and remote login.
This release also includes the following important bug-fixes:
- Elimination of fileupload.jar to prevent conflicts with Artesia Web Client
- Modifications to get content actions for master, subfiles, and proxy content
- Update of VocabTermFindAction and SearchAction to enable usage of Term ID

Introducing the Digital Media Group Knowledge Base for Artesia DAM
The Open Text Digital Media Group is pleased to announce that a Knowledge Base for its digital asset management product – Artesia DAM, which is part of the Open Text ECM Suite – is now available on the Knowledge Center.
Customers are encouraged to Setup Notification on the Digital Media Group Knowledge Base so that they are notified when any new articles are published or existing articles are revised.
